This listing is for an antique porcelain divided dish with hand painted landscape scenes, gold gilt, and moriage elements. The dish is marked Nippon on the base with a leaf. This particular mark is associated with Morimura Gumi. The mark is consistent in size with the real maple lease Nippon mark I'm aware of, but I'm not an expert in the identification of antique Japanese porcelain marks. The mark dates to between 1891 to 1911.
The dish has a diameter of about 8-3/4 inches without measuring the handles. It weighs a little over 1 pound.
The dish is in very good condition overall without chips or cracks. There may be light wear to the gold gilt along the edges. Please see photos.
